Along with ipods, Artic monkeys and Botox, optimal nutrition has become the fashion of the new millennia. The quantity of new nutritional research being released each year is progressing at a phenomenal rate. Unfortunately however many new findings are simply adding to a climate of nutritional confusion, fuelled by excessive media hype. Even worse, many self-styled experts and health gurus seem all to quick to present their own interpretation of scientific research to the public. Much of the time they lack full possession of the facts nor fail to fully understand the implications of the research findings.
